Rally vs grouse hunting. The season will be underway. Although the early hunting isn't best, I consider it to be scouting for the October trips.

Squirrel season and bow deer season opens next weekend. I plan to bow hunt this year. Not sure when or if there are many deer where I hunt but at least I will be in the woods! Heck, I may hunt in the morning then squirrel hunt mid day.

Maybe you're right about the tye dye stuff, because when I hear about you going hunting I feel sorry for the trees that will be struck by arrows and .22 bullets when you miss the squirrels and deer..

    Shit, I guess I'm a tree hugger..

    Tex was here...

And here we are. Oh - a beer tent. Splendid. Think I'll hang here for a while.

I clearly misread the dates. Couldn't have gone this weekend anyways. Had a party Saturday that I needed to attend. Hope everyone had a good time without me. :freaky

I have not laughed so hard at this rally in a long time. Stuart, it was great fun hanging with you and Dan and Ernie and the rest of the gang. I felt like hammered crap Friday when we left, and I feel pretty good right now. Laughter is the best medicine.

Tasteless Rally Joke: What do Pink Floyd and Lady DI have in common?

Their last big hit was the Wall.

Simplest Rally Joke: Why is one line of the "V" longer than the other when geese fly South?

There is more geese in it.

It was great time - a very good rally. Good times, good people. Very well organised, I thought. I had a blast - reciting the whole of Blazing Saddles was fun - well, for the people reciting it anyway.

Good to meet some new folks, and bump into a few from the Central rally too. Think I could easily be persuaded to go to this one again next year.

Great to see you again Roy! :wave

You guys did Blazing Saddles?? Aww.. I missed it.. :cry

Anyway, had a blast, just as I figured I would.. And I had a great ride up and back, backroading the mighty Helix.. I'm still shocked that with all the crap I took along I still had room left over..

I took some photos.. Nothing fancy, but something to smile at..

Couple old timers in the bike show..

Ernie selling his wares.. Even this cheap KLR rider ended up dropping a couple 20's at Ernie's table.. :lol3

One of the things they do is have a Wisconsin MC State Trooper stop by and bs with those who care to.. Nice bike, but the guy had no clue about police work.. See the photo after this one for the reason..

I walked up and took a photo, and then said "Hey look, you've got SCMODS!!" He had no idea what I was talking about..
    Rookie..

I like this gun pointed right where it's at..

Speaking of Guns, I went over to the gun show.. Lots of nice stuff over there but I was able to walk out with as much as I walked in with.. :norton

Batteries died after 2 pictures, so I got no pictures.
Stuart, don't forget about your major prize.
You should change your screenname to "Lucky."
    :lol3
I'll talk to Glen and see if that can be exchanged for you.

Oh yes, the bright yellow thing! I was pleased as punch to win something. A real shame that it's not the right size.

I'd be happy to exchange it if possible - otherwise I'm just off to look up the value and then sell it in the flea market.

    Cheers Roy, I appreciate it.
