I'll bring the ol' fashion fixin's! To do it proper we will need sugar cubes, bitters, and a muddler...of course with the whiskey or brandy and/or sweet or sour...veg or fruit of your choice.

There was mention of some saddlebag mount fabricating. It's just a little bastard, but it does a nice job, and it takes less space than a 2 man tent.

I'll do a final check with everyone here, just before May to see if it's needed, but I thought I'd throw out it's availabilty if somebody's got a project they'd like to take care of while we're doin' Doos..

My Doo's been done for a couple years (both pcs were intact) but I've been kicking around doing a subframe upgrade. I might grab the stuff and take care of it that weekend. I also bought a KYTech fork brace, but I think that'll be on shortly after the salt's gone this spring..

Being a WI native I've never been a fan of old fashions. :puke1

I am quite content with cheap water and even cheaper whiskey.

I could also scab some weld on if someone needed and paper was to busy doing what he does.

I do have a doo question tho. Since I'm KLR challenged wtf is this mod/fix/removal/replacement reason for this gathering? :ear

Factory cam chain adjuster is crap. The spring or the adjuster can break, and from what I've gathered, about 30% or so do break..

The aftermarket version is $40, one piece machined billet and a better spring.

Basically, the KLR's pretty bullet proof, but these little bastards can and do break on occasion. It's a one time $40 purchase of Peace of Mind..

And an excuse to get together and drink.. Now I'm a native of the huge town of Juda, Wisconsin, and I know for a fact that things in WI revolve around a reason to drink.. :lol3 I started at around 12-13 years old.

Not a klr owner and am just looking to ride, party, and have a good time in general.

Just to clear up any ignorance I have, but isn't the "doohickey" simular to a "thingamajob" a "whatzit" or a "counter balancer chain tensioner"?

Idler shaft lever is actually the correct term, according to http://www.klr650.marknet.us/doohickey.html

This is what I used (along with my Clymer manual) when I did my bike..

Janesville, huh?? Never heard of it.. :lol3 I work in Beloit.
