I can't write it in stone as of yet but I am planning on going. I'll help with the hamms and bacon funds.

Beloit, is there any good riding areas there? :evil I work in Madison.

I had a fork brace on mine and ended up taking it off and getting rid of it. I dropped my KLR a couple of times and the forks twisted a little. The fork brace kept the forks from straightening back out. As soon as I loosened the fork brace you could see the forks straighten back out.

My fork brace worked well and made that road to Panic's brother's place something I could do without falling. A loaded KLR needs the fork brace.

It did seem to make a difference most of the time, the only problem was when the bike decided to lay down and take a nap. As long as you pack the wrench so you can loosen it if needed it should be OK.

I'm probably gonna make it up there for this:nod

I just got my ass chewed on this evening. I thought I told Copilot about this a couple weeks ago. She's pissed she can't come with me. Seems her daughter made plans for that weekend. She's having some kind of shindig here. :cry

Oh, well, I'm still going to make it. :thumb

Sounds like a plan to me if the invite is statewide and you can live with an old, ugly moderately capable wrench to tell you what you're doing wrong.
My '06 has 9K miles, Doo is done, screen cleaned, too many farkles too.

I'll bring Bourbon! Jim Beam White Label - don't like it, don't drink it! All others welcome to help yourself!

Bacon/Bourbon - same thing! Nectar of the gods!

Tengai - wanna ride up there together. I live in Mequon now so you'd go by here anyway!

Whre do we get more specific location?

Are you planning on doing the Doos on Friday or Saturday (or both)? I'll probably ride up on my Capo to help/watch/drink/point but probably wouldn't be there till dark.

Cool. I was going to ask when the wrenching was to commence, but it sounds like there are enough of 'em to do that it will going on for a while. My plans are to hit the road at such time as to get to Mog-farm noonish. Should be plenty of time to see some doo-ectomies.

and I here ya about the snow Mog. It could be interesting, but the weather is supposed to be warming up around here by next week. At any rate, I'll be there in anything short of an in-route snowstorm.

The laundry-list looks good. Nothing else I can think of.
