    Ben,

I'd like to get that thing changed out sooner rather than later. I don't know what your garage situation is since you moved, but we could do it in my garage. Sure I trust you - hopefully we learned a thing or two from doing yours.

After a few nice spring days, the Zen Garden has transformed into a coy pond, just for Hodag. :evil

Belle took advantage of the melting snow. She ran straight out for about an hour, then collapsed in a grinning, panting heap.

Not to steal any thunder away from the "doo" day, but down the road maybe 30 miles, on May 5th, is a Japanese/European swap meet & motorcycle auction being held in Hatley at SK Service. Locals may know SK Service as the dealer for Enfield Motorcycles, the import from India that hasn't exactly set the motorcycle world on fire.

I've been to the swap meet/auction for years. The auction is pretty bogus as buyers seem to think they are selling gold.....and bidders seem to think all bikes are worth just slightly more than scrap iron prices. Very few bikes actually sell.

Lots of beat to death/nearly beat to death dirt bikes & 4 wheelers at the swap meet. Parts for jap bikes & Triumphs. Almost nothing in the way of Beemer bikes/parts.

I only bring this up as something a few may wish to partake of for an hour or two.......as a supplement to the "doo" gathering.

I enjoy going to swap meets. I especially enjoy seeing people trying to sell obscenely:huh overpriced bikes. A couple years back someone wanted $3000 for an 86 Honda Rebel 450 in average to fair condition. Maybe worse. I didn't look it over real close. I asked the gal how she was basing her pricing as the bike sold for about $2500 new. Her testy reply: "Take it or leave it".

One can't get entertainment like this on HBO.:clap
