I got my 1290SA from O'Neill's. Owner and wife are exceptionally nice people. Salesman is a salesman, which is generally annoying. I'm one of those people that thinks the bikes do the selling. I do all my own service just to avoid the time and transport hassle so can't comment on how they'd do. The service area itself isn't very confidence-inspiring, but that may not be the whole story.

Thanks Noel. Did they play the added setup cost game? Anything you would have do differently during the price negotiations?

I don't even remember now. I traded in my 1200GS and that was the crux of the negotiation. Can't say I made any money on the deal, but that's the story with bikes in general! These days I'd be tempted to at least visit Maddie's in Dansville to see what's what.

My sweetie had me open a gift early. She is sending me to the Texas Tornado Camp in April! Going to hang out with Colin Edwards! One of my Moto Heros. :happay

59° in Medina today. I have seen 2 bikes go by my house and heard a couple more. ENJOY but be safe! The last thing people expect to see in January is someone out on two wheels. Not to mention all the salt and road debris coming out of the melting snow. Don't need this happening to anyone. :muutt

That is because you've never been to Cartwrights.

Maple syrup and pancakes at Cartwrights is the first sign of spring.

I forget who it was last year that said the same thing, as he was finishing his 2nd or 3rd helping. I am not a pancake guy either, but have to say they make the best I have ever had.

They do have bacon and eggs too.

    I'm right there with you!!!
I eat pancakes once a year....first morning of deer season....cause that's what the cook cooks!!!
Bacon and eggs, sausage and french toast, or twice-cookef taters with eggs over top and mixed in much preferred.
But...I understand the tradition and ritual!
