    Hi all,

I took 2 other F800s and a DRZ400 out for a ride on Saturday, the day started with clean bikes :D

Below is a great picture sequence taken of our mate. To his defence he had stock rubber and the exit to the muddy bog was a sheer step up that was slippery all around the area. This little surprise was hidden behind a drainage mound. It delivered a valuable lesson to stand up especially when approaching crests.

Note how the suspension was fully compressed and the wheel was off the deck.

    MAN DOWN!

His right side ADV Spec bar bent in by approx 40mm. The right side Wolfman pannier rack bent in by approx 10mm. Other than that the bars were tweaked slightly. He was winded and has a slightly sore hip which is better already. He is not deterred and is eagerly awaiting the next ride!

Looks like it was a great day for a ride. Glad your friend wasn't injured and is ready to get right back at it :clap

A crash to the other side will have the Adv Spec bars re-centered. At least that is what happened to me. Your buddy looks like he needs since stiffer springs since I'm guessing he weighs more than a 150lbs. I did a video with a bunch of slow motion effects and was amazed at how often the stock springs on the 800 were compressed. Just driving into a steep incline would do it. New front end parts are coming for next summer.

I like the slo-mo video footage Motoriley, the F8 and HP2 are a little under suspended and need stiffer springs (mine does with my 100kg to lug around)

Avid Media Composer 5. Been using Avid since '95. Not the most powerful for effects but great for editing content.

I'm about a 100kg myself. Not over weight just a little too short for my weight....:D
