how much should I be asking for a 2012 GS with about 5K miles in very good condition, Crah bars, HIDs, and AUX HIDs?
The bike is in Seattle WA

How bout you tell us what part of the world you're planning to sell it from? Prices vary with availability within a large country like Canada and the US.

Look at local dealers and what they are asking. Right now, here in CO, I would say between 10.5 and 11k - maybe (if you are lucky).

I'd say $11k given time of year and no luggage, but be willing to take a bit less, especially if tires are original/worn. You might get a bit more if you hold it until April when the warmer weather is closer. I know the HIDs have plusses and minuses--quality of kit and installation is probably an important factor for an informed buyer. GLWS

the Aux are 2 PreRunner, 6" HIDs from Baja designs with a BMW (from a GS1200 OEM switch so no aftermarket look, the hi/low are from HID50 all done at the dealer.
I have a second set of tires never mounted too.

The bike is only worth what you can sell it for. No more! If you want or need to move it fast you are going to have to accept wholesale value. In your case about 82-8500 max if the bike is clean. If you are under no pressure to sell you can wait for what you want and hope that day comes before you die! Been there and done that. GH

It is worth X. If no one offers more than X; ie, (X+), then X is what it is worth. You have to figure out what X you will ask and accept.
