Just tell her your needing to get a new set of tires. When you bring the bike home, tell her you bought the tires for $9000.00 and the guy threw the bike in for free.

I don't think it is a good deal. Low mileage over long periods of time make the bike less desirable. Unleaded fuel sitting in the fuel pump has caused problems for many. Tires over 4 years old should be replaced. If the battery is the original it is shot. Steering head and swing arm bearing issues. Alternator issues. Cracked fuel tanks. Things like the brake fluid and coolant change intervals are based on time not mileage. These bikes are very expensive to fix.

Very good advise! Thanks. I have to remember that part about expensive to fix.
The KLR is cheap to fix. And it's mine with no payments.

I just sold a 2010 g650gs with every thing on it. Mint shape and 4200 miles for $8400.00 and the guy thought it was a great deal.

    OK,
I am getting it. I took it for a spin today and it is cherry. Of course I am going to see if I can knock the price down to something a little more palatable.
    Can't wait.

The fuel pump was replaced last week and the battery was replaced as well.
    Pretty sweet!
I got the wife on the back for a spin and she said it was awesome.
Now, who wants to buy a great KLR?
