David Knight has WP on his Kawasaki KX450. Juha Salminen has WP on his BMW 450X. But those guy are ultra fast.

...and probably none of us here have the ability to buy the suspension they're using, let alone afford the suspension they're using.

I bought one for my VStrom just before I gave up on the bike and sold it. Some guy named Blair did a group buy in that forum. I'll see if can find him.

So who has installed the WP shock and how do you like it? Matt?

Probably a bit much to ask but if somebody has a comparison to the other brands that would be even better. :thumb

i think wp was lowest bidder for stock forks on the newer f800gs's...they are not in the same ballpark as the stock ktm's or the ones above that they make...

High quality fully adjustable WP Fusion shocks are still available, but they never had an off the shelf set of forks for the F800GS.

There are a couple of us that have adapted 48mm open chamber WP forks from KTMs, in various single or dual disc variations. I've supplied most (all?) of them, requires some custom parts and setup work but the end result is sweet. Very stiff and durable 48mm fork tubes, thick 26mm axle, very easy to find spare and aftermarket parts for since they are used on every KTM, every suspension shop can tune them and lots of aftermarket options are available for wheels, brake caliper, discs, fork tuning parts, etc. But, it's not the cheapest way to go.

I believe Marzocchi has moved away from motorcycle suspension to focus on mountain bikes exclusively. I've heard this from a few different sources. It would explain my BMW switched to WP on the F8.

Anyone who knows the fork settings (spring rate/type oi + level) on the stock WP forks on the '13-'14 800GS?
