I'm in Austin for a few weeks on my GS and was hoping to find someone with some wrenching skills to give me a hand doing valves and tb sync on my 1150. I've done it once myself but honestly not that confident about it yet.

I'm due for an oil change and have some disturbing noises which I suspect are just cam tensioner noise but seeing as I rode 2100 miles down from Canada and have 2100 miles to go back I'd prefer to make sure everything is ok. I may even pick up the new tensioner and put that in too if I can.
Beer supplied. :freaky Hell I'll bring BBQ too if you tell me where the best place to get it is. :deal

I have to agree with LtDan. Sonny knows your bike like the back of his hand. You'd be searching forever to find a better man for the job.

For all you guys in the Austin area, Sonny is definitely your man. :deal

We spent Sunday working on my bike, did the valves, TB balance, all fluids, rear brakes, fixed my sticky throttle lock and even got to use the box of hammers. :evil

My bike is smooth as silk and absolutely purrs again. Great guy to hang out with as well. If you need a stand-up guy to work on your bikes give him a call, he definitely knows the boxers like the back of his hand.

Hey, thanks Chris! It was great to meet you and sling wrenches on your GS. That amazing plate of mex food at South Austin's G├╝ero's sure topped off a fine day of wrench'in!

Hope ya enjoyed your stay in our neck of the cactus and have a safe ride North!

    Cheers,
