I love this thread. Growing up in WI in the 60's and 70's thse bikes were everywhere. Did you like all of them, No. But did you appreciate the work to make an old Panhead, hardtail with molded in frame and metalflacke paint, king and queen seat, springer front end, I could go on. But it was all about having fun which is something we need more of with bikes now. Anyone who has put a bike or car in a show has heard all the "know it alls" tell you whats wrong with it. The beauty of HD and bikes in general if you like it, thats all that counts.
