    WE ARE FULL !
THANKS FOR ALL THE INTEREST IN OUR GET TOGETHER---CAN'T WAIT TO SEE EVERYONE!!!

Hey guys and gals--here it is![IMG]

    April 24,25 & 26th

Location: KLRmikes and Kaylrs -Whippoorwill Farm,St.Marys, WV

This is the third year for the Spring Fling in WV, a weekend of riding and commraderie. We have lots of space for tent camping and trees if you have a hammock. Most important thing you need to bring is a SMILE[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]and a "Have Fun Attitude"!!

    Activity Schedule

Friday 24th--this day will consist of everyone getting here and settled(tents set up,etc). There is no time schedule here-whenever you get here is fine-someone will be here. There will be campfire and food that evening. I'll have drinking water, ice tea, lemonade and coffee. Food will be Kays famous chili, hotdogs and hamburgers that evening with all the extras. We are leaving BYOB up to you to bring. The evening will consist of getting your bike ready for the next day and BS and commraderie around the fire.

Saturday 25th--we will have breakfast( sausage gravy and biscuits-OJ-milk-coffee-and some of Kay's homemade jellies.)

Depending on time and how smooth things go there are 80 plus miles of two lane rural highways, gravel, unimproved and a small amount of jeep trails.
There will be two groups of riders -some doing the knarly stuff and some doing the less knarly. This year Mike has added 3.9 miles of single track :clap here on the farm to play on along with the well/farm roads that are already here. they are calling you--flagger,flagger,flagger

Sunday 26th--I will fix breakfast---gravy and biscuits again--with extras-that worked well for the previous years and you animals didn't seem too picky.:evil

What we will provide----lots of camping space -- a couple of port-a johns---we have a beautiful creek that goes right by the pavilion where you will be camped that is full of bass, sunfish, etc. so if you want to bring a pole for some downtime -feel welcome. We will have coolers and ice-drinking water-ice tea.If any of you are diabetic-pm me and I'll work with that in mind-fixing food, unsweetened tea, etc. There is a large fire-ring at the pavilion and lots of firewood. There is a table at the pavilion and seating for around the fire.Mike has a pretty extensive tool selection if we need to tweek any bikes. Alternative activities for the evenings will be horseshoes, snipe hunting and cow tipping.

We may also provide whippoorwills in the evening ,running water and peeper frogs to listen to as you fall asleep. What more could ya ask for???

If you can't be here till saturday morning -let us know.

We had a wonderful turnout last year, great bunch of guys and gals!!!
We plan on putting a limit on the number of attendees this year-trying to keep it around 35, so please be serious if you are responding to commit.
We need some confirmation on your part as to whether you can make it-so I can plan for food--last year I left a tip jar at the pavilion and that worked well to cover our costs and we didn't have to charge anything--we hope we can keep up the tradition.Any questions??-pm Kaylr or KLRmike
Will be posting a map on how to get here shortly.

There is also plenty of parking if anyone wants to trailer their bikes. The only thing that will cancel this is a LOT of rain. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

We have been ask about bringing pets(dogs) by a couple of riders and have decided it wouldn't be a good idea-we are going to have a couple of little grandchildren here this year running around and we wouldn't want any problems for anyone. So , please -no pets..

I'm so there! I am planning on bringing the toy hauler since I will also be bringing the GF. She is still a non riding member since the KE100 is still being repaired. She is excited to meet everyone and become part of this great riding community we have. Hopefully she can ride with Mike and Kays kids in the pickup to snap some photos and meet us for lunch. I'm also hopeing to have the newly dual sported YX426 to run around the property and maybe do the ride if I can get it registered and tagged by then. Hopefully the toy hauler will also buffer my snoring.:uhoh

PM me if you have gear you want to drop off for me to haul down from London with us.

Some video of the ride to Mike and Kays'.

I would be honored to attend. I have a tent this year lined with R-30 for sound deadening. LOL
I am going to try it the easy way this year....start off the day with air in my rear tire!

Is there anything needed that I can bring? Ear plugs?

To be honest, I'll only be coming from Urbana/Springfield that day....But am riding the bike up to work this time instead of flying specifically so I can come to your shindig....So, I'm still shooting for the LD award for about a 1400 mile trip to get there....:clap
