This looks really sweet. I am sent you a PM for the stock seat.

It looks sweet . I have talking with Chris there about making the seat for my X. It looks like they are currently in December for build dates.

It sure looks nice! But my question is if it is much more comfortable for the pavement parts (may be a little wider), and is it taller, shorter or same as stock (I would like it to be lower). Also, how much is it?

I bought it mostly for the pavement parts myself, I ride about 70/30 street/ dirt (I like the way it looks and wanted a bike that inspired confidence offroad + I'm 6'6") and wanted to putt around town on it without the monkey butt. James asked me how I wanted it setup,( lower, softer, wider, etc) before he started working on it. I should get it in about 2 weeks. The quoted price reflects a standard vinyl cover with custom shape and padding. He does offer other materials like leather or carbon fiber look, but I don't know the prices. I just received my Renazco seat yesterday and when I called him to say thanks for the nice job, he mentioned he would like to buy it to use as a swap seat for other customers, so they don't have to wait. If he changes his mind, I will post here.

I emailed Renazco and have yet to get a reply about covering a seat for touring and having it sent out here to Australia. I enquired about this 'swap' seat setup as I cannot be without my primary transport (yes G650X) for 6 weeks!

Not to hi-jack this thread but I just purchased the factory low seat last week and have the stock seat laying in a box if anyone is interested.

Talked to James on Friday. Said he was going to try and make mine with the suede top. Was not sure he could do it.

Either way, the vinyl cover looks good. Just wish I could get it back...it's been gone for 2 weeks.

Have you still got that seat? I am interested for sure! I wouldn't need it here in OZ but sent to James for revcovering.

Is this thread dead? Does anyone have a stock seat for cheap? I am a pauper.

Maybe the member who bought W8-41T's seat would consider selling me their seat once they have their new seat done by Renazco!? I could then pass mine on etc etc... Whadaya reckon?

Seat came back today. Was gone a solid month but it appears that it was worth the wait.

James was not sure he could do a G650X seat in suede. However, he managed to pull it off...beautifully. I did get the impression that he was not too sure if he wanted to do another one.

Have only sat on it so far, will give it a ride soon.
