It’s actually kind of funny. I used so own a bike shop and decided to ceramic coat my exhaust to control the heat. I sent the entire exhaust system to our usual powdercoating shop. Since we do a lot of work with them, they went out of their way to have this ceramic coating smooth and polished to high gloss finish because it was for my personal bike... LOL!

120/90-17 is also 4.60-17 tires. 130/80-17 could also fit. There are a lot of front/rear tire in this size that could be used in front of the Buell. There are in this size but are not tubeless, so it would require a tube.

Picked up sandwiches at the local bakery and stopped for lunch and bird watching at the north end of Navajo Reservoir, which is on the Colorado-New mexico border.

I looked at doing this. You would need to make some brackets to move your fender out, which shouldn’t be too difficult. Get a tape measure or something an inch long, and you will see how close the tire comes to the spoiler. It should be fine, but it is pretty close. Maybe a little too close for me.

If you really wanted to run the taller front tire, it’d be easy enough to lose the front spoiler and saw the two little mounting bosses off the front of the muffler. That’d gain ~3/4” or so of clearance.

There is about 2” of clearance between the 120/70r-17 tire and the two front boss on the muffler. I would not run the front spoiler with the knobbies. I have the Dean Adams/Touratech clone muffler skid plate.

Just finished a 2200 mi trip 2 up from Phoenix to North Idaho. 7 states, 4 National Parks, 2 National Monuments, and a bunch of other cool stuff! We camped the whole time and had a blast. 37k miles on the old girl and she still surprises me how well she tours, loaded with 2 people and camping gear. These bikes are so fun.

My old fly screen after I replaced it with Madstad system. It’s part of my Buell/motorcycle toys.
