just marking for quick access
aka clicking the "watch thread" button?
Ya. Now you tell me.
Should have read it first.
Animated GIFs as avatars seem to be the leading cause of "?" avatar placeholders. It appears the new package is trying to force some sizing on them, which breaks them - you may want to update the FAQ to reflect this.
ETA: some information on tweaking this (assuming ImageMagick is in use): https://xenforo.com/community/threa...profile-gifs-images-to-show-on-threads.61951/
Even though you've enabled Tapatalk, I decided to give the Xenforo mobile interface a try and I think I can say I won't miss Tapatalk. Found a cool feature last night. When in "Watched Threads" view, the thread topic link takes you to the first unread post (just like the little arrow button to the left). This is great, especially when viewing on phone. Good work everybody. I knew Baldy wouldn't steer us wrong.
I passed this along to the admins.
How can we ignore forums? CSM has to be taken in small quantities!
I assume that people shouldn't get too used to using the built-in attachment functions, since server space was always such an issue?
That works a bit different now. Instead of excluding some forums, you will use the new "Watched Forums." Select all the forums you want to see and don't select the ones you don't. Then use that interface to browse. Yeah, I know...that's what I thought, too.
thanks - much better than too much csm.
Once I marked the forums I want watched and selected the notification type, I snagged this url:
It is not however, giving me the latest replies on the watched forums in a list... boohoohoo....
Is it just me, or when reading threads did the user info/avatars move from the left side of the screen to the right?
It did. Baldy is making adjustments and testing things.
Happened to me in the middle of posting a reply, and confused the crap out of me!
How about a warning next time . . . to avoid whiplash!
This is what I came in here to figure out.
I don't like it.
Since I read left-to-right, I tend not to know whose post I am reading until after I'm done reading it. It's awkward.
It might work better in China.
Wait, all that changed in 1955.
This may be a way you can exclude CSM from New Posts button...
I'll go sit in the corner now and be quiet
I have to say I'm not a fan of user info on the right - I'd much prefer to leave it left.
Also, is there a way to change colour of the font while posting as it was on the old forum?
