Cassette transmission ...
One step closer to derestricting....
Sugo kit box
I'm waiting on some parts for the TZR that are still in Japan at the moment, and will be several weeks at best before I see them.
Cold and rain now....with snow not many more days away I'm afraid. So I think the TZR will be drained of gas and left in peace for now.
Which brings me to another two stroke project which I have had in my garage collecting dust and a few parts here and there for over 6 years now.
It started out as a $1500 pile of worn out parts.
I am not sure exactly what it will be when done, but it will be going with me to Bonneville this year if I can keep on track with the project.
1990 Australian market RGV250L .....at least that is what some of the bike is.
It is, and will be a bitsa in one form or another.
Will be tearing into this in the next week or two.
I have added SP fully adjustable front forks, RF600 3.5x17 front wheel, GSXR Nissin calipers, early Katana drilled rotors, RGV VJ22 rear 4.5x17 wheel, White Power steering damper....and a few other bits that were better than what the bike started with.
My gawd man...can I come live with you? I'll clean, cook, and even pay rent...just let me live in that garage!
Home improvement projects that need finishing before Thanksgiving are limiting garage time.
I did get a radial master for the RGV and test fit the Suzuki Kit pipes on the VJ21.
Cleaned up a set of 208 cases and the GK73 SP swingarm which will go into the RGV at some point too.
I also got my SPR airboxes for the TZR/SP to work along with my 3XV-80 ignition to unrestrict it completely
And.....I finally picked up a set of 2001 GSXR750 front calipers, which are basically the only real direct upgrade for my 96 RGV VJ23.
I have some HH pads on the way, so after Thanksgiving I will have something to do while it snows for the next 4 months....
