Yamaha T700 Tenere owners thread

It’s been suggested that after the T700 speculation thread which has been running for over 2 years with 11,000 plus posts and 565 pages that a new owners thread is started, so here it is. The first batch of production bikes are finally due to be delivered in the UK and I get mine in a weeks time.

I’m excited, very excited.

I agree. I am so sick and tired of reading about 790 KTM and AT in the 700 Tenere thread.
I am not interested in the other brands.
This is the bike I want to own.

Think the Tenere T 700 pre order thread would have been more appropriate .

Looking forward to some CREDIBLE journalists and magazines back to back comparisons with the ktm 790r

only took 10 posts for someone to pollute the thread with KTM

Maybe the first T700 (sort of) in the US - had to build my own. If you are interested in building your own custom bike, production frames from this bike may be available (PM me). With full tank (4.5 gal) this bike only weighs 380 lb. and has top notch suspension and running gear. I don’t want to hijack this thread any more than I already have. Build thread covers suspension.

The T700 is going to be a winner. Wish it was available when I needed a bike. Will watch this thread closely to see how folks mod their bikes.

Interesting that no owners are posting to this thread. Just maybe this bike is too much fun so they’re all out riding it instead of sitting around nit picking it like the people on the speculation thread.

For anyone visiting from the speculation thread, this is what is known as a joke.

For any actual T7 owners who read this, get off your computer/phone and go ride. You can post pictures and reviews this winter when all of us will desperately need a distraction. We will all wait impatiently for you.
