This rubber flange/grommet appeared to fall from my bike during the center stand installation. I poked around and couldn't figure out where it may have come from. I want to say it somehow fell from around the foot pegs but it's possible it came from higher up on the bike. Any ideas?

I've put about 1700 miles on my OEM Rally seat and while I love the ergonomics, it has not been without enduring some pain. After about 1.5 hrs freeway time, my crotch is numb...all of it. The seat has a slight dome to it and this pushes up on the important bits over time. I decided to fix that and the comfort of the narrowness of it. It puts a bit of pressure on the sit bones where a slightly wider seat would spread the load a little more.

Gel insert is a Saddlemen Saddle Gel Medium and cost about $45. Whole process took about 2hrs.

So far, hour long ride in jeans which is usually my threshold was pleasant. Need more miles to confirm how much more comfortable.

Looks like a chain roller but since it has Zero wear on it I don't think that's it and my rollers are yellow/tan.

I also can’t view the pics on iPhone or iPad...

...but since we’re playing WTF did this part come from, anyone got any guesses on this one?

My bike is very stripped down, so really could have been from anywhere.

Based on R, shape, lack of bolt hole, and sticky side of it, I’d guess it goes on the inside of some plastic portion and there is a mirror LHS version somewhere. I’ve probably spent 90 minutes at this point trying to figure it out.

    Not a clue.

They sit behind side fairing, if you look closely at inside of fairing you might see the mark where it is from

    Can anyone tell me:
    1. How to purchase this badass skid plate and any other info about it like tool carrying capability a la Yamaha’s rally skid plate, and/or
    2. How to buy the vinyl wrap kit that goes over the whole thing, ideally with large, but subtle “T7” as they only text in shades of black...
I’d be super stoked and grateful.

I don't know about that particular vinyl wrap kit, but this site has some cool ones that might be of interest:

They even have pre-cut clear vinyl options:

yeah, I like in rank order:
    1. King Grey
    2. Camel Cyan
    3. Alltime Grey

...but the one that covers that CoronApocalypse skid plate would be even sweeter

Ooh! I hadn’t seen those clear ones previously. But they’re glossy. I suck at glossy clear vinyl. Impossible to get every bubble out. Maybe with precut it helps.

Cross posting from the T7 forum:

Has anyone had success with installing aux lights, whether with a skene dimmer or not, and found a solution for triggering then to come on at max brightness with the factory high beam switch?

Apparently the electric system with regard to high/low beam on this bike is strange.

    thanks

I don't think the Aux connectors have a high-load setting? I think it's only low or medium load settings. Probs have to tap into something that can supply a high load?
