There's a metric ton of variables for me with the TC. The stuff on the latest gen KTM 4T enduros, and what many others are running.....no issue as its not overly intrusive. If it hinders you from going faster, or navigating something......then that's a problem.

Srs question.....do you think your S1000 would be rideable without any form of TC? I can't help but think with 165hp, it's either lifting the front, or spinning the rear almost non-stop. :hmmmmm

Well it has a mode to turn it off. It's completely rideable. Scary if you want it to be. Up to you.

All in the wrist so to speak.

I lost mine about 15 years ago and still get upset regularly thinking about him. Dogs are the best of us.

Something would break by the time the 3rd wheel started spinning.

Mine did it. But if rev too far, or counter-steer at all, and you’re done. The TC comes back. I don’t recommend doing it, either.

I'm always boggled by how much traction a tiny bit of rubber will allow. Bikes seemingly keep getting more and more HP\TQ. Now all I wanna go do is rip some wheelies on the 650. Weather might even allow a commute or two next week. :ricky :lol3

Guy that bought my 5Hundy just texted me this...

It’s nice to see it went to someone who respected it. Said he took every single bolt out. Complete frame up rebuild. Powdercoat and polish. Even all new engine bolts etc.

That story reminds me of my GMC van. The Ford Transit is a much better type of Traction control.

Does anything not have Traction Control nowadays?
I thought that crap was pretty much standard by now in some form or another... :dunno
