The official reason they've asked for refrigerated trailers is because families are having a hard time with planning funeral arrangements quickly given the circumstances.... So they're leaving dead people in hospitals longer than normal.
They would not need the trailers if arrangements could be put together under normal timelines....

Again... Super super shitty.... Awful for anyone in that situation, and even more so when you can't attend your own families funeral....
It's unfortunate to see the news taking this direction on the stories just to increase clicks... But I guess that's how news and marketing work.....

I was surprised how much my wifes Crf 125f was it was heavy just moving it around the shop and it was tue heavy for her. I think it's one of the reasons she gave up riding even though she was getting pretty decent at it. She only weighs a 100 pounds ,I really wanted her on a trials bike but she had tew have the little Honda.

My shop runs a 2 ton heat pump. No back up. My house has a 3 ton heat pump. I have the back up heat disabled. Cooling months I'm looking at $65-80/month. Heating months I get up to $90-110/month. I never go in the shop without running the AC. I sweat enough at work!

Remember when I built that table and left the heat on in the shop for a month? My bill for running both systems was $125. And that was our coldest part of the winter. Granted, our winter have been mild past few years.

A drafty old farm house with shit windows and no insulation? A heat pump will struggle and eat you alive with back up heat burning constantly. An undersized or oversized duct system will do the same. A properly sized and set up heat pump is much better than some people realize is possible.

Btw, the heat pumps in my house and shop are non the modern high efficiency units that work even better than ever. They're both over 20 years old. Old R-22 units we took out for customers that wanted to "upgrade". The new stuff runs twice the suction pressures and pumps out more heat, and sooner. Stand over a register when it's 20° outside and you feel warm air pumping out.

Not trying to cram heat pumps down your throat, just saying.

I've got almost 900 gallons of free heating oil here in tanks. I've got a free oil furnace installed in my shop. Never even ran the fuel line or flue yet :D Just let the little heat pump purr right along!
