Moving the spousal unit back in. More in and out than ... ah nevermind.
Local place so not much help to you. I'd just search reusable moving bins. Gotta be a bunch of places by you. Can't say its any cheaper, but to avoid breaking down boxes and then finding someone to take them or getting rid them slowly in the small trash and recycling bins we got, its worth it.
Ah, I thought maybe you 'found' them behind your local grocer and were borrowing them.
I'll have to search a bit. Thanks!
looks like its on for next week...
*UPDATE* - COVID-19 Official Announcement.
Fall 2020 Crud Run update: Amy Sprecher reports: “planning on all we do as usual for the Crud Run. We'll be ready on the 4th for all who want to come!”
Riding a motorcycle has probably never been safer but please practice social distancing and wear a mask in Pine Bluff and Leland.
I can't say its ever looked appealing to me....big group ride things, not my thing. but hey more power to those who it is
Yep, screw that. I went to see some bikes. No way would I want to ride amongst that shit.
Stop it man, you're scaring me.
I'd have looped it out.
Maybe you can store the brat in one of those blue boxes?
That's an acceptable chariot.
Sew no good deed.....
Yesterday morning my GF rescued a young-ish woman and her dog. She and her boyfriend had fallen asleep in the parking lot of the auto parts store that shares a parking lot with her gym where she instructs at 5 am.
The police stopped to check on them and arrested the boyfriend on a warrant. The girl was stuck with a broken car, they had been waiting for the store to open to buy a belt, and was broke and clueless about how to fix it.
I got roped into replacing the belt, on a 90' BMW 525i. Third belt in that runs the water pump and alternator so the other 2 had to come off as well.
In the gravel parking lot of the store in the pouring down rain with no cover.
So 3 miserable hours later, due mainly to the tensioning bolts for the belts being stripped, I was soaked to the bone, muddy, cold and finished.
Got her cars fluids topped off and she went on her way.
Or so we thought. She made it about 60 miles before the head gasket let go. Apparently they had over stressed it when the belt broke and compromised the head gasket.
And the people that helped her that time were essentially forcing her to stay in their house. Really creepy. So me and the GF drove 2 1/2 hours to get her and drive her back to our place.
Today we went and grabbed her car from the meth heads and the plan was to store it at the property until I could get around to fixing it, or determining if it needed to be scrapped, at which point she could come get it or send it to the scrapper. (Weren't sure about the head gasket at the time of making the plan)
Well wexre just about to drop the car off and she freaks out, says she needs it to drive home and want to drop it at a mechanic today. So we find a guy who's open, and actually a decent guy, and drop the car with him for an assessment.
Yep he confirms headgasket. So scrapyard it is.
We are putting her on a bus to Nashville tomorrow. Sadly her dog will have to stay here because no dogs on the dog line.
He's a good pup so not stressing that but not sure if he'll ever be leaving. So maybe we haz an new dog.
Anyhoo the end of this TLDR story is yoo can't help people who can't be helped.
Damn. That’s quite a story. And that’s also quite a lot of character that’s present in your household. Well done, sir.
My thought the whole time has been "what if this was my kid?"
Got any pics of the new Dog?
His name is Cash.
