This is an option as well. Not sure what would draw more ridicule this or a helmet?

@Yinzer Moto as tew CF parts on motorbikes I wouldn't mind it. I'm on a fancy full carbon mtb and it's been fine. Just started riding a set of carbon wheels this year haven't had tuu tension or true them yet including 2 weeks of ski hill gravity riding never had a alloy wheel that would do that. Of course I have seen broken carbon bikes and wheels but alloy and steel can break as well. Beauty of Carbon mtb frames is they are basically always repairable and the repairs I've seen had a reasonable cost. A alloy mtb is pretty much disposable when it cracks. Saw some trick carbon trials moto wheels from europe but they had the spokes into the rim flange I'd have the spokes all torn out riding in the rock piles. If I wanted a e motorbike and yammie sells the TYe in its current form it wouldn't cause me any stress.

wow that is interesting. Is the belt inside the swing arm then? I wonder how that drive tolerates debris getting in the belt/gear

Don't know haven't seen any of their parts in real life no info on the belt drive on the skecky translated site. But they have some other trick looking stuff don't want the belt they have ti chains for a 10 fold improvement. Want to reverse the air box and fuel tank all in carbon no problem. I assume the pricing is the well if you have tew ask type of pricing :imaposer http://www.vitititaniowtc.com/en/mo...s/light-part-ddm-prodotti-per-moto-trial.html

A "moto problem" is far less costly and destructive than a drinking, drug, and/or gambling program. Considered in that light, motos aren't a problem at all. When my wife suffered severe postpartum depression for a miserable year and a half after Charlie's birth, moto riding saved both my marriage and my own sanity. It allowed me to be both a good father and mother to my little pumpkin. 20191012_201744.jpg

My better half is very understanding of Moto stuff with me. She greatly encourages me to ride more. Heck, I'm leaving for the UP in a few hours. :ricky If I had a better track record of keeping bikes long term, I'd be making a bigger push to get me a new bike sooner. But considering we moved this year, I got the 650 a few months ago, and the TSE just over a year ago......... I'll have to space out a new bike a bit :lol3

    That is pretty trick.

I think it is time to see what can be built with carbon for motorcycles. Even regular dirtbike rims could be a good place to start. The Husky/GPX subframes are pretty close to carbon.

It’s quite possible performance can’t be improved tenfold. So why bother?

They need to hire better engineers. The potential is there, they just need to unlock it.
