I've never been to any races. Tried to watch Jay and Ken Springsteen , but race was cancelled !
I've only been to one "pro" event. That was the rodeo.

Well, having wheel spin with a big drop directly in front of me and to the right, I may have made decisions that weren’t ideal besides making sure I didn’t fall off.

How old ARE those guys? Mongoose vs. Snake goes all the way back to when I was a kid. Pretty cool they are still doing it.

@Fallacy , is this ol' boy still around? His place is on my all-time list of favorite shops that I’ve ever been in. Anywhere.

I was just recently advised to drop in Big Daddy’s museum about 45 minutes from home. I’ve driven by but hadn’t the time, at the time, to spend the time. Next month maybe.

Supposed to be a new drag strip opening up in my town next year!

I’m not a big drag guy but I appreciate the recreation opportunity for the public. When NJ forced Englishtowns Raceway Park to close it was a massive clue to GTFO of there. I still am amazed the enduros and DS scene isn’t dead (murdered) yet. It’s just a matter of time.

I had the Hot Wheels version of their dragsters and funny cars. I think the dragsters are still in a box in the basement.

Got my fat, tired, overworked ass out of bed this morning and ran a 5k in 33 degree weather.

Ended up with an extra participation award thanks to my time. That glass pumpkin has a stem that looks like a really proud nipple. Obviously, I'm delighted and really only did it for that cake pop.

I hope a nipple pumpkin and a cake pop are waiting for me at the trials event we're going to tomorrow.

Dat's a pretty rock ya got dare.

Bull sh*t I'm just a young guy but appreciate motorsports stuff and many other things before my time. I didn't get tew my first race as a spectator until 1978 at the age of 2 dad says I loved it even then. I love old motorsports stories and listening tew the old guys talk about the 50's and 60's. I really like the old Pics like Prudhomme's ramp truck and old motorbike photos. One thing that always strikes me is the modest haulers now people tell me they can't afford racing cause they don't want the payment of the one ton and mega toy hauler like it's a must have. I always say ya don't need that racers have been sleeping in van or station wagons and tents on the ground forever. My Friend Outlaw Dave used tuu have to ride his race bike tew the events and race then ride it home in the 50's cause it was all he had rode it tuu work as well.

I haven’t seen that bike, I researched it when I saw it was an air cooled 4 stroke. How much are they? How good are they for basic trials like I do? How effective is the seat/tank addition?

@Trailer Rails's wife this bike looks amazing!

Hey Yinzer's if shopping 4t trials bikes for Sally why not a Cota 260 ? They require a bit of technique tuu start but very low effort on the kicker just a slow steady push. The power delivery is easy tew manage yet still has the snap for advanced moves or when you guys ride the high elevation trials. Other then keeping clean oil and air filters in it @Yinzer Moto can haul it all over different temps and elevations and not have tuu mess with the bike Sally can just ride.

Saw one in action, The seat is like all the add on trials seats not very good tew sit on when riding but great to rest on at stops or if your legs blow out and you have a easy road or trail home. The guy riding it rides vintage compilation and uses the Ty as a plonker for fun not events. Says you will get used tew the throttle stop and the suspension and clutch is in between his vintage bike and a regular modern trials bike. I think it has some applications I think they cost aboot $6500 CDN not totally sure on that price though.
