For the first time this season WI didn’t score a TD on their opening drive.
Getting close to Chicago (and Moline) style with meat under the cheese. I am almost a convert to that.
Looks good. I've had this brewing for past 5 hours. Chicken soup.
My dough game is weak. When I was married I made a lot of pizzas, and was setup for it. Trying to work from memory, average ingredients, (flour/yeast/no starter) and did it all in the same day. The sauce is homemade and the cheese is local. So that’s saved it. Kinda. It’s ok. But I’ve made far, far better in my former life. It’s still better than anything frozen.
Flour direct from Italy makes fantastic pasta and pizza dough.
My current favorite dough recipe:
Yeah, I know. I used to partake in imported flour from a little Italian store in a rough neighborhood in Rockford.
That’s pretty much the recipe I threw together. I didn’t get the gluten build and the stretch wasn’t there. I know I didn’t over-mix it. And I also know I didn’t let it sit overnight.
I might get serious this winter and see if I can get my mojo back.
My wife's Hawkeyes are on national TV tonight. Hoping for a twofer of great games now that my chores are all done. Bike is clean, tent put away, tools stashed and rugs in the house all de-dog-furred.
It's the time of the season for our golden to change to his winter sweater and the undercoat fur is ridiculous.
Good news boys
Advrider now has the four wheel and camping sub forums, so I’m back in the target demo
I even spotted a couple of you loons down there, eh. Someone’s got a nice pickup.
Badgers hung on.
Thanks for reminder that I need to make another round of egg yolk ravioli.
Operation Expedition Portal overthrow underway.
It shouldn’t be long until we have everyone convinced they need a trophy truck if they’re going to pull into a dirt parking lot
I won’t be caught dead without my trophy truck. I have a gravel driveway- so I can’t drive anything else anyway
I gotta lift my Xterra 2" so I get the correct departure angle for my angled concrete driveway. It's the only way to be sure.
I’m going huge lift and a rack on my topper. I am on gravel roads occasionally up north, so...
I hope you mean 2 MORE inches
Well for sure. I can't get to pick n save on anything less than 40s.
There were several people sleeping on top of lifted overlanders at the campground last weekend. I just don't get the point of needing an eight foot ladder to get into your tent.
Seriously, that has to be the stupidest camping trend of my lifetime. If you are that afraid of bears, just sleep with your fucking piece. Not that a bear has any problem climbing on a truck anyway.
