You might need to request a brodozer subforum.
The last place I want to be in this part of the country is laying on top of a hot vehicle in a folding box at night in the humidity. Out west in the arid, and the altitude, sure...ok...whatever.
Any type of camping east of North Platte needs access to A/C because there are only about a dozen good days to camp.
What a stupid investment.
Yard is recovered in acorns, plus leaves. Beach, and maples have lost most of leaves. Still poor color, a few specimen trees - maples.
Frig. Now buddy is saying he might keep the YZ and fix it....
Anyone wanna buy an RFS 250?
Was a shitty deal anyway. You should be relieved
My girls miss me and I took Ashley’s bike on some harder stuff.... it’s no ktm 300!
I did go ride with 4 dudes today and only one of them could kinda keep up with the venerable CRF100F! He was on a 350sxf, there was a beta 300rr race edition, a wr450f and cr250r
Brodozer and cooking day on the fest. I got nothing for the brodozer but went on a 6 hour trials scooter ride and Young Jenia and I stopped made a fire and cooked up a few smokies very enjoyable day.
Man you're always in the gnar eh. CFR 100 see it's mostly the rider.
Disclaimer I’m PUI
The benefit of rooftop tents is that everyone around you knows you are a big deal, and can be found @instagram or whTever #
As far as being afraid of bears @Grreatdog youre in Wisconsin right? We don’t have grizzly bears. Grizzly bears aren’t afraid of much- but they are fucking terrified of 8 ft ladders that go to the top of Toyota’s.
Accusing @Grreatdog of being a yankee?
I had those guys covered, but that bike is very seriously limiting! It was a fun time though pushing on that bike! We hhad 2 major or almost major injuries. One stick that grazed up a guys neck then bloodied lip and punctured his forehead. Another guy had a kidney transplant about a year (he’s a pretty good friend) went way low blood sugar and I had to go find him and get him back to his truck. Pretty scary as he couldn’t speak properly. Got him some sugar. Both were close calls, the one guy we just had to butterfly the puncture, but it could’ve been a jugular punctured with a slightly different angle
Do you think he can come out of this one?!?! I think @Grreatdog might be reminded of that sand in his under garments after riding the beaches in the 70’s after that yankee accusation!
Ya I had a Crf 125 fb for my wife I'm surprised you got up that stuff it was a heavy little pig and not easy tew find grip on. Glad it wasn't tew serious for your friends.
I hope @Grreatdog usnt pissed
If you are- refer to my signature and accept my sincere apology
It was @wiswoodsguy that was giving me crap about Kenosha being “hood” iirc
If you guys vote me off this thread my life with most certainly slowly spiral downward into a dark abyss....I’ll still be happy, but it will be curled-up-in-the-bottom-of-the-shower-biting-your-knees-wishing-you-were-dead kind of happy
Couple more pics of todays ride.
Basically had to ride it with only the rear wheel making contact. The first time I made the rev out with all weight back and thrips and body forward as you dump the clutch (similar to a static zap but with one foot off the peg) I freaking almost slammed my hips into the bars! Timing and how explosive you do that is different on an air cooled 100 than a 300 2 stroke... weird right?!?!
Looks like trials heaven!
Ya everywhere you look around Yellowknife even right in town are sections from novice to off the charts hard. And you can ride anywhere you want it's pretty great spot for that.
