You were listening to Christmas Carols this past weekend. I don’t need you to be able to justify listening to them more.

If we were to keep our current snowfall pace we’d finish the season with 667”. :1drink

Thanks for asking. Steve's coming along, but nowhere near normal yet. He is going back to work next week for four hour days doing "canine seduction" duty. I suspect that he won't be in ride shape until next summer sometime. Provided my sister in-law lets him ride. The whole episode is a real reminder that while the 300xc-w is a docile beast, it's still a beast Steve L's x-ray.jpg

It is against marital law, in/at/around/near/within hearing range of our house/ vehicle/person, to partake in listening to any form of holiday muzak/music/moosesick no earlier than one full week prior to actual said holiday. A severely punishable offense that wields horrible consequences to those that refuse to comply :nono

yeah that never ever worx, aboot 5 min after Thanksgiving, she is blaring xmas shenanigans from any and all devices :lol3

That alone is enough to justify BREXIT. Fuck Brussels, and don't get me started on the misery, poverty, and suffering caused by their diamond and cocoa bean cartels.

I'll happily demonstrate the proper use of a Euro5 compliant tailpipe.

Angry rider is in session today Resized_20190624_222731.jpeg
Cliffer was four back then. We saw a red tailed wolf at Bear Creek OHV Kelowna late April 2015. Only riders at the entire staging area. Icy trails, needed @Yinzer Moto's studly tires

I do not put up a single decoration, nor listen to any Holiday music, here at the compound. Hope this helps. :ilmostro

OKay so I can't help wonder what's going to happen when the 10,000th page is reached.

Will it be like a Y2K event? Do I need to stock up on provisions? Oh wait, that never happened.

Will ADVrider suddenly, and without warning, see a need to purge itself of the growing tumor in its memory banks?

Will the ghosts of threadfest past reappear?

    Will GJ delete his thread?

My prediction? Another day of festing will happen, as usual.

Well depends, would you rather like no standard at all, or each (smallish) country defining its own, different than the neightbor, standard? :D

Imagine 50 different California emissions rules...

It's not even December, and the silly wife already has a wreath on the front door!

I lost my beloved maternal grandmother on Boxing day when I was four, and my mom lost her shit for a few years. Dad was long gone to his 3rd wife and new kids by then. So that's kind of where my childhood died. I had to look after mom, keep her on a good path. Big job.

So anyway, Christmas is bittersweet for me. If you try to maul me with excessive shitty Christmas music, I'll withdraw. With a quiet and understanding vibe, I will get into the spirit well. I really enjoy seeing family and friends, eating vast amounts of dinner and pumpkin pie, and those postprandial naps on the couch (doesn't matter whose couch either)

    Sorry about the TLDR

Sally loves Christmas but oddly, there is still a skeleton hanging on the front door from Halloween. Or is it a thanksgiving skeleton?
