THEN will it be ready to race????
The work van has a horrible traction control system. Any wheel spin results in the throttle cutting out. It can not be disabled. My previous van had no traction control, it was great in the snow, with snow tires. My rwd Ranger was a blast in the snow. It went really well.
As far as the trails, you’ll have to stop oot someday. Maybe this year Rick will get to go to some of the more difficult riding areas around here. If he has worked on being able to get on the pegs of the bike, right from the start.
I used to go oot and find all the steepest roads to try and climb during snowstorms. There were some real interesting slides back down the hills in reverse. The steepest street in the world is not far from my house.
No. It'll never be ready to race.
My ranger sucked in the wet\snow until I added a rear traklock locker. Any slip, and it locked the rear diff out 100%. So nice.....also very noisy.
Wait.....people sit down when trying hills? Does that even work?
Everyone around here used to drive RWD vehicles. Everyone used to get stuck all the time too. Sandbags, shovels, and sample carpet sections were in everyone's trunk. When FWD first came out, everyone raved about the traction. Now, they've figured out how to make AWD affordable, reliable and efficient. No going back.
This changed everything for winter driving here.
Meaning, people went faster and slid off even farther into the ditch.
Rick dont has an Beta yets
RWD -> AWD sounds kinda like the 2T -> 4T Thing. Everyone used to run 2T, and deal with carbs, and crappy power delivery. Then the OEM's figured out how to make 4T with FI incredibly reliable, and relatively inexpensive. Now....2T guys, like RWD, are just doing it for nostalgia and whathaveyou.
Yeah, your roads are SHIT !! Wood know bang with ice
Y’all play nice today. Off to approve minutes, and spend money & shit.
I nearly bought onenna those.... still kinda regret not getting it....
Enjoy. I'm going to the DMV and also getting my haircut.
Hope this helps.
I had its more refined younger cousin, the Celebrity Eurosport, as a company car for a while. It was ok.
My mom had this when I was growing up.
We were always stuck in the winter, and when you could see through the floor, we got one of these...
Never got stuck again, and it eventually became my college car. Nothing good about it, but it just kept going.
Ya..... It was pretty appealing to a young redneck....
Remember... I wasn't born until the '90's... Didn't start driving until 2006....
Still wanted onenna those things......
statement is factual but still needs this.
