Aaaah! OK, I didn't know Kawi was still building he KLE in 2006. The syling has changed from the KLE I'm familiar with. The headlight looks very z1000ish, but you could tell by the suspension (and tires) that it's no Z.

My dealer has an older KLE500 and a KLE250 for sale. I've always thought the bikes had a lot of character, but couldn't quite bring myself to own one.

    Good stuff...thanks :clap

I really like the silver rims on that silver bike.

And here is a Dutch contribution to this topic. No special modding except for the (standard) LED indicators and alloy guard. But I still love it :clap

How robust and heavy is the add-on alloy guard versus the stock bash?

Not much, but it provides a lot more coverage. You'll have to wait for aftermarket to get a real strong one. This one isn't good for much more than rocks flung from the front tire.

Who made the crash bars? I like the design for both protection and the light mount location.

These crash bars are the factory Yamaha ones. They're strong but I'd say the side plastics with still cop a beating if layed down.

    Cheers,
    Dave.

LOL! You guys should get out more. There are at least a couple of threads that have answered that question many times...and they're all very active, so they're usually on the front page of Beasts.

My first edition Super Tenere in local town's main park. It was the main attraction. Still little accesories, I´m working on that. SW Motech and Hepco Becker seem to be the way.

So, I check your profile to see where you are from: and that was a no go. So I looked at you ride report thinking that would give me a clue and that was another language = another no go.

Just guessing... But from the university school bus in the background looks like it might be Medellin, Colombia.
