What screen is that and how much taller than stock is it? I’m 6’5 and have owned 3 different S10’s. On none of them could I ever get away from buffeting. I tried a few different y’all windscreens, winglets etc and could never fix it permanently. Right now I’m considering a newer Water cooled GSA. Rode my son’s oil cooled 09 a month ago on a week trip and the buffeting was nowhere near the S10. But I loved the reliability of the S10. I’d own another S10 if I could figure that out.

This is my last S10 and the Tall screen I had on it.

    It is the Puig.

It may not be tall enough for you, but I found it to have very little buffeting. Perhaps you could add an adjustable wing-thing on top, too. Good luck!

Thanks. The Super Tenere is a great bike. But they don’t hold value for crap. It’s crazy because they are so bullet proof. But I’m always surprised that not many people seem to want them. I had my decked out Anniversary edition that I was asking $10k for and under 10k miles. 6 weeks later I ended up taking $9k. Crazy.

Does seem a little underpowered but maybe there is a fix for that. The power is decent but it doesn’t make you grin when you roll on at 3rd or 4th gear.

I think the Super Tenere is a great bike, too. I love the KTMs and BMWs, etc., but I am always 100% certain the Tenere will bring me home. Also, its low CG and tractor-like engine are actually quite good off-road, though it is lacking in the suspension department.

If you decide to sell yours, I'd like dibs on those carbon fiber fork protectors, please!

Sold it over a year ago. Only got $9k for it. And it was the Anniversay Edition colors. That’s what I mean by they don’t seem to hold value. Oh well. New owner was super happy and I was fine with it.

An ECU flash and Arrow headers will fix that.

Sold my first S10 to buy an AT, yeah it was a struggle to sell it. Bought a second used Gen II S10 after getting rid of the lemon Honda. Got a great deal and future resale value doesn't matter because it's a keeper.

Odd, there is no rain siping on the edges... for a sport-touring tire, seems Michelin would have placed grooving there.

All the reviews rave about the wet grip so they seem to have it sorted.
