Hi Seb, indeed it was a great day!

I still can't believe you and Bernadette drove all the way from France for just a couple of days and went back again. The Corvette is very lovely and it was great to be driven up along the banks of Loch Lomond.. the sound of that engine is amazing!

But you two are still mad for doing that journey, but it was great to see you both. :)

Not mad at all ;) (just a little bit may be but not for that lol )

Really i could do it again and again when it is necessary!! For friends, i can do all!! the planet is only big as 24h, just the time to come...

Corvette is a nice car lol, but it is just a car and nothing can be compare to the bike...

we will come back soon! Friends and their happyness, nothing is more important !!!!

End of 2018 - So it's been a few weeks or more since I have posted as work has taken up pole position in my life, which isn't such a bad thing. I thought I better post, if from my sick bed :sick...... Unfortunately I had the flu and currently fighting a chest infection (pneumonia), as if this year hasn't thrown enough at me already!

However before I fell ill I managed to make it up in to the Highlands on Christmas Day. But before you get all excited, sorry not on the bike it's way too cold for that lol . So heres are a few from the day.

Hi and thank you. We though the same too regarding the thread as without the crew and many others it would not have existed. John (Kamchat) and I had so many fantastic adventures together on (and off), the motorbikes as we worked jointly on many of our day adventures and the portfolio of adventures still grows. You know where to come if you need a spot of inspiration as we have accumulated more route over the last year. Happy New Year! Sarah and the Crew

So moving forward.......... well almost! Since the 21st April, life for all intents and purpose stood still. However the decision had been taken for me that I would be riding again and for that needed one thing, a bike! With the 750 gone, that left the 1000 but it was untaxed, MOT'ed, need new tyres and dare I say needed a bit of TLC, this is why John was on the 750. So with the help of the crew and Stewart (ex Ducati mechanic), doing the work the 1000 was taken away and given a thorough service and clean. Stewart attention to detail is second to none and I couldn't have asked for a better mechanic!

    1000 being collected

And Mot'ed ready to go back on the road

It was a few weeks before I ventured out on my own, as I knew I had to do the first ride solo. But I finally made it out on 21st June to a place to Luss..... no high mileage or indeed daftness. But our maiden ride 8 weeks and 5 days after loosing John was a success,, though I admit it when I stopped I did sob (one of many times during the season) but I did it! :)

    Out of our maiden ride.
