I did this for years. I was working in a high school and would often commute in. Once I got to work I would change out of my motorcycle boots and into school colored sneakers. Afternoon back into the boots to leave. Can not tell you how many times I would be all set to go, get to the bike and look down at my feet. Oops.

Since this thread has gone completely off the rails, let me add a humorous story to the fray. I told the lady at work, who's husband rides a Harley and is from the "when in doubt lay 'er down" school of braking, that I had to lay my Harley down. She approvingly nodded her head as I began the story. I told her a squirrel ran out in front of me so I had to lay 'er down. She understood my mocking her and gave me a profanity laced response! :lol3

Gee whiz....i ride a Yamaha but I have several Harley shirts from different dealers that my daughter purchased for me in her travels.
1 from Ireland 1 from Mexico and 1 from Budapest.
I find them to be well made shirts that fit my XXXL frame very well and are long enough for my long torso.
I am not trying to imitate a Harley owner I just like the shirts.
I wish KTM made some that are that good.

As for diversification I’m personally pretty optimistic for the Pan America and the new street fighter that’s coming for HD. The street fighter is a very nice looking bike and if it handles and performs like it looks will sell. In the past they kind of dabbled a bit into a good handling sportster but it always felt half-committed. This one looks like it’ll compete just fine with Ducati etc. Same with the Pan America, if it’s reasonable in weight and power I would expect some GS sales to be stolen.

I can see a HD dealership in the future looking more like a Cabela’s, different themed sections for riding segments with all the lifestyle accessories for each. They do have one of the strongest marketing departments of anything.

Unpossible. HDs are no tech bikes ridden by mouth breathers and pirates. The ubermensch ride GSs. :lol3

I like my new Street Glide. But, then I've liked pretty much every one of my 2 dozen or so previous bikes. Just sayin'...

    You're doing it wrong.

Buy the damn bike and then find out you don't like it so you can lose your arse when you sell or trade it. :D

Allz I know is that I've been off on vaca all week AND unable to ride and dammit all I hear is hardleys all day. Loud ones and quiet ones, but lots and lots and lots of HDs.
