    Came accross this out near Little Sahara UT some years ago. Pictures were taken with an old film camera - didn't have a scanner so I took a pic of a pic, lame I know.

    The BLM guy back at the ranger building said it was "Rockwell’s" hideout. According to him (and a quick review of some history seems to support his story) this fellow did the dirty work for the early Mormon settlers - some accounts blame him for the mountain meadow massacre, others say he wasn't involved in that. Either way, he was a wanted man and he found refuge deep in the sand dunes of little Sahara.
