VFR bodywork is in the paintshop so I had to take the Grom out for some local riding.
The former Lafayette County courthouse in Mayo, Fl. Built in 1883. Now a bed and breakfast.
And the new one built in 1908

I have no idea what this once was; it was beside a ravine, off the road a fair bit. The stone staircase and railings is interesting.
its an old sod house. They were popular in that part of the world at one time. I worked on a farm in southwest Kansas as a teenager (near Liberal) and there were a few abandoned homesteads with those.
I've seen a ton of this for a certain era of houses.
That looks kinda like brick, but it's some kinda tar paper with a brick textured outside.
This may well be the nicest house I've seen covered in that crap.
It sure looks rough toward the end of its life....
I could be wrong, it may be actual brick, but it looks a lot like that brick/paper siding
