Up in Eagle Nest, NM we were visited several times by momma bear and two cubs.

Do the bears hibernate in that part of NM ?
This Okefenokee Swamp lizard was over twice as long as my GSA.
I would think they do, but not for sure.
This was a buck that was not phased by six guys on motorcycles in New Mexico.
I rescued this little fella on yesterday's ride, I helped him across the road.
Not wild but it was hot yesterday and they were cooling off!
Corolla Beach, NC where the last remaining herd of wild Spanish mustangs live. You are supposed to keep a minimum 50' distance but this guy started to follow me. I don't know if he was curious or being territorial but I slowly motored away. Corolla is a great place to get in sand practice. It's miles and miles of deep beach sand.
Not in Death Valley. I am assuming that's DV. Coyotes get acclimated to us.
