Broad Ripple Brewery:
Same pub a year earlier:
My buddy's giving the ADV salute from his Chinese bike! He blew the headgasket on it about 100 miles from Lafayette. Still made it there and back to Chicago the same day.
Motorcycles and beer, my two favorite things in life. How did I just find this thread?
Stumbled into Kinston, NC on December 1st of last year to get a picture of this old civil war boat:
I was about to turn around and head home, but then I remembered that this was in Kinston:
So I turned around, and parked out in front of their bar.
And went inside for this:
For those that don't know, Mother Earth's Silent Night is one of the best seasonal Christmas beers out there. It ages quite well too.
Bikes and beer! Two of my favorites as well. As a brewer myself, I am on a quest to sample all the craft breweries wares I can find. I have not always had the camera, and having not known about this thread; I submit the following..... all having been visited by me on the HD or Duc. I will en-devour to capture both in one image in the future.
Stopped here while visiting Copper Harbor, MI on a weekend trip.

On the edge of Chamapign/Urbana, Illinois. They serve only their own beer. No liquor, no strange flavor combinations, no TVs, no food - just their own creations done really, really well. Super-excellent
Tell me more about the 1100G in the middle ...
1992, I owned for 3seasons put 15000 miles on the clock. Great old Suzuki Gsxr air/oil cool engine, would pull you arms out og ther sockets fro 3500 rpm to redline . I liked the bike but never fell in love with it. It is a heavy bike at 580# dry and is raked out quite abit. Handled awesome on the slab but was a handful in the twisties. With a full fairing they say the are a great cross country tourer. Too heavy for a sport tourer in my opinion. It now lives in the Kansas City area. I replaced it with an FZ6.
