It is important if you do not see the curve?
not me, simply my son
Not MY bike, I was riding my bike when I took this pic.
This is my 2007 12GS recently traded in for a 2014 GSW. She sure was a good bike.
DR650 in Mexico
it's hard to explain to folks that the sidehack wheel will lift when you are turning right. I used to teach new riders how to handle a sidecar in China. I would sit in the sidehack and they would drive. All would deny that the sidehack wheel would ever lift. I would have them go in a big circle to the right and build up their confidence. Once they settled in, I would reach over and give the throttle a tweak which would bring the sidehack wheel right off the ground. Scared the shit out of them, but at least they experianced it under controlled conditions. When you go to the left, people will also not believe that the bike's rear wheel will come off the ground.
Can't touch my R1 Powered GEO....
Naw, but for real this time.
Crotchrocket racing? Do you have anything to do with this sign?
Actually, I have been riding with the Dragoneez Sportbike Club out of Charlotte, NC for years though I am not an enrolled member. Black Sheep. Devin LeFevere snapped these pics for his website, crotchrocketracing.com.
Our Adopt-a-Highway stretch is just down the street from that spot. Shady Valley, TN. My second home for a good many years.
Some other pics from different bikes I have had up there in the valley.
When I first started riding on my DR250
Then a year or so later I upgraded to a DR650. I love Suzuki's
I took a screen shot of a paused video that was shot with my GoPro attached to the center stand of my 2014 GS while riding the devil's highway in Arizona. The video is pretty cool IMHO.
