I took a pic in the same spot a few years ago.
That's me! (The nearest).
(Picture taken by Martin Lindor and Swedish BMW MC-club.)
Madison County, NC
I think this was too, it may be Yancey County.
I recognize that curve. Same curve but from a different angle:
I showed Daph my pics when I got home, she looked and said bridge, abandoned place, curve lol. I told her you would know exactly where that was at and you probably had at least one cool pic from there. We both liked the one of all the guys with no bikes on Elijay. She wants to go under the bridge/waterfall on 215 now after seeing that pic of yours. We had an opportunity yesterday but I had empty road in front of me.
Can't waste an empty curvy road
That curve is a great photo spot. During last years "Beat the Heat" ride I went ahead and set up to get everyone's pic in that curve.
Those are killer. I’m gonna do that for that upcoming antique run. And Grapevine, I think they’ll probably hate Grapevine with the tank shift bikes but the pics they’ll get hopefully make up for it
Unfortunately, no recent adventure type bike pics of me in a turn but....maybe soon. Until then here is one from (wow) prob 12-15 years ago? Something like that...back when I lived out east and frequented Deals Gap...man I miss that RC51 but I don't miss the riding position.
On a "Pigtail Bridge" in South Dakota:
Squirrel Gap Rd
I heard about this through the Grapevine
