More like $30 bucks around here, but I still try to support the local conglomerate dealerships when I can... I have just learned that tires and riding gear are two things the local guys just can't compete on, and they know cause they won't stock much since it is such a slow seller. But I plan to go get some tubes and other stuff at need at the local meglomart dealer... :lol3

    Oh, I don't don't go to the mega-corporate dealers, either. Fuck'em all.

I buy what I can from guys that give me their cell phone numbers and will come pick up my bike when it's busted. I prefer the "one store" guys that have been around forever.

I do buy a lot online, too but I don't go to the stick and brick store to try it on for size. That's just a little too cheese-weasel for me.

Our only motorcycle store in Vicksburg is open on Mondays. The husband and wife team that runs it works 6 (5-3/4) days a week. I buy some parts and small stuff there to try to support them - I still complain.:lol3

I've been around Trophy Jr; he is funnier than you, spells better, and does't have training wheels on any of his bikes... Unless it's a pie eating contest I'd pick the kid on my team.... :rofl

Supa- When we gonna go ride? I think we all need to take our 2 wheeled blood pressure medicine.

Except for Best Cuts....they're open 24/7.

It's cause most of these around here are open on Saturdays and are also mom and pop operations and they dont sleep on the floor of the shop like Abdual does at the "stop and rob" on the corner.

They might be willing to allow you to come in and work Mondays though and you'd have time to whine on the forums like you do at that place you hang out now that you call "work"...

He rode about 100 miles with me Sunday. Now he keeps asking when we are riding to the mountains to camp. Gonna be a fine riding partner. :dllama

I call bullshit. I'm telling you, it would be easy for any of the bike places around here to do a little shuffling and have the doors open on Monday's; even if it's with something less than the full compliment of employees. The only "maybe" exception to this is Big Mike's; and who goes in there anyway?

    HAHAHA! Nice.

I'm not sure if I will be able to before next week. I just ordered a bunch of stuff for the bikes and I have to spend some time getting that stuff on.
