I know you are all itchy for some seat time.
Did a quick Phantom Canyon - Shelf Rd. loop and I would consider it Open for Business. Shelf had very little snow, couple of turns maybe, other than that nice and dry. Phantom had a bit more snow, nothing unmanageable.
I can see the summer around the corner.

Certainly one of my favorites. Summer is a long way off. March is the snowiest month of the year. Maybe Wednesday.

Then aspen ridge to 24. Pop through 4 mile.
Oh my, did it many times.
Crap, 39 mile Rd to Guffey is .... fast.

Good to see roads melt out....and available.

Maybe the proper topic for this thread is.....a Loop in Feb-Mar in Colorado.

Thanks for the intel.... Once I can get my bikes out of the subdivision, once the roads are rid of ice...I can get to Shelf Road......

Eager to ride...haven't done it since before Thanksgiving.

Living in Canon City, the Wet Mountains rank up there and can ride 3 seasons. Up Oak Ck. Grade, over to Puma Canyon threw Rosita and Antelope Valley down 69 to Gardner Rd. and down Ophir Ck. Rd. and back. A great option is to go to Greenhorn Mtn. amazing above timberline views.
