I'm going to have to upgrade to a Garmin 376C sometime soon. I've been reading the forum and have done the Froogle thing to look for places where folks have been getting good deals and service. Anyone care to share their favorite, and say why in a couple sentences? Thanks, Dave
I really like www.GPSnow.com Usually the best prices I can find (sometimes you need to "add-to-cart" to get the real price becuse its lower then they can advertise. Prompt and very reasonable shipping I've bought two units from them and have had a great experience. When its time to get a new one they'll get my business again Brian D.
Dave are you thinking about selling the 376 ? My wife wants one for her car. Let me know if you even have a thought about selling. Howard
Sorry - I've got a GPS III+, about 5 years old, and will be stepping UP to the 376C in the near future. I think I will hang on to the III+ afterward. Still a great little GPS. Sorry, Dave
what about ones that accept paypal? I've got this weird thing where whenever I decide I want a new toy, I go through my garage and start selling off crap that I don't use. So far, I'm up to $350 towards my new 276c! In a sense it almost becomes free!!!!
http://www.gpsmart.ca Bought a Garmin 276C motorcycle kit that included the car kit a Ram mount and accessory power adaptor for the bike and City Select North America for about $200 cdn better than the closest competitor. They also rent so you can test out a few before buying. Dean was a very good guy to deal with. Fin
Check out www.getfeetwet.com. Their prices are comparable plus they will add another year to the manufacturers warranty. That has to count for something. Plus, they actually answered a question via email. And were very low pressure on the phone (while I was on another phone getting frustrated with Magellan).
Ditto Quick obligatory disclaimer here, I don't have anything to do with TVNAV other than buying 3 units and some goodies from him and two from other sources and he's been the best from a knowledge and support standpoint. I have no problem paying a couple bucks when I find a vendor that is as good as he is, but his prices are generally very competitive.
Hey everyone! I'm looking for RAM Mount for my GPSMap 60CS. I've already looked in www.gpscity.com and I'm now taking a look on the websites on this thread. Does anyone have another suggestion? Better if the store is in Florida! Thanks!
I have to second www.getfeetwet.com. I got the link from a post on this site. They give you the two-year warranty for free, I got my 2730 for 899. and it arrived the next day. They also had the Ram cradle I needed and the hardwire cord, Too easy
Been using www.gpscentral.ca with very good success. Excellent after sales service as well. Had a bad antenna, they fired off a new one right away, including the return shipping labels and postage paid for the old one. They've supported quite a few adventure riding events up here as well, nice to see a vendor doing that sort of thing.
Thanks for the link, hadn't seen them. They have the lowest combined price on the 376C and carkit. Dave
Any feedback positive or negative on TigerGPS.com? I am looking at the new Garmin 60Cx and they say they have them in stock and ship by 3pm!
Ordered mine from them at 1200 pst (3 est) and it was at my door the next morning at 1100 by DHL. So, I would say, they do what they say they will. I still have absolutely no idea what the thing does or what it is good for and will probably send it back or take offers.
