    I had a 1976 DT175 as my first bike in 1980!
Good thing it wouldn't go over 80kph. Sold it after 2 months for a bigger bike.

Me in 1978 with my MR50. It's the oldest pic I know of but did have a bike before this without a motor I would roll down the street and leave skid marks all the way past my home.

    Bought it in 2001.
Had dreamed of this bike for some ten years.

    Well it’s bassicly quite simple:

    Work from 01.00AM till 13.00PM.
Being daddy and familyman till 20.00PM.
And sleeping for the remaining 4 to 5 hours (at best).
It resulted in missing a redlight (due to tiredness) doing some 50 mph when, and driving straight into two lanes of traffic.

    Practicaly died at the spot.
Learning to walk, new teeth, concussion, crack in pelvis and so on.
Took me some 8 months to be officially recovered.
There’s a lot more to tell, but I do think this should do it for now.

Not my first bike, but it my first new street bike. 1974 Suzuki GT380. And that is my dad's Moto Guzzi 850 Eldorado behind. Notice the snow in the background. My dad taught me young to ride as much as possible!
