    There's a great long thread in this forum about awesome riding songs, many of which I listen to when riding, BUT I try to mix things up when I ride. Not every song has to have a motorcycle theme.

    I'm a 70's and 80's baby boomer type ans as such I like a lot of stuff from those eras as well as earlier stuff my older siblings used to listen to.

    However I also like some music moving forward as well and as such my playlists on road trips can pretty variable.

    Then there are those songs that I shouldn't admit to liking, that somehow are too catchy or just strike a chord with me that I can't help but like but I do. This is your chance to admit it, get it off your chest.....

    What song do you secretly like but generally wouldn't admit to your friends you listen to on your bike?

    I admit it, these songs are EAR WORMS...they got in my head and I can't help but enjoy them. Don't judge me , instead let's hear your confession too;

    Have lots of musical favourites of all genres, but any time I'm taking a long trip, the first song is always this:

    Been listening to rock of all stripes on my trips for a long time now, but for long long trips they have started to abuse the eardrums... So for some reason I've switched to 2000's chick pop. Brittany Spears, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, you name it. Good for passing the super slab, well that and Ron Chernow's "Grant", very educational. When the twisties hit, crank up the Avenged Sevenfold, Breaking Benjamin, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Stones, or maybe Michael Buble (he kept me under bracelet speeds on the Blue Ridge skyway).

    Really shouldn’t admit this. I like Celine Dion. Don’t tell anyone though!

    When my daughter was little, she got addicted to this video. She would stand in front of the computer and mimic the dance moves. She's twenty-one now and sometimes still talks about it.

    Although I spent most of my performing days in a rock band, I was classically trained. I don't listen to music when I'm riding, but I bring my mp3 player along on my trips and there's a lot of symphonic soundtracks on the playlist.

    I'm also a big fan of the Paul Winter consort.

    I once, almost in an embarrassed way, admitted to the lead guitarist that after a gig was over and the loud amplifiers were packed away, I often tuned to easy listening music as I drove home just to mentally cool down.

    He said he did the same thing. :D

    My wife is a big fan of Barbara Streisand, Elton John, and Il Divo .... big, big sigh. At least riding solo lets me throw on what makes my ears happy. Here are some that seem to pop up on my play list from time to time.
