My mother called me Gizmo as a young boy because I was always interested in and collected gadgets. As I got older the nickname died, but I started using it on forums, because it seemed appropriate, considering all the farkeling/gizmos that is part of motorcycling.

It's what I do. I can't help it. Some like it, others are offended. I can't control that anymore than I can control mimicking their idiosyncrasies. Gonna get punched in the face one of these days. Oh wait, I have been punched in the face.:hmmmmm

& mine: My bike's a 250 and it's enough for me (for now). One of these years I might be in the name change thread.

    Willys....
I've owned and restored many Willys/Overland vehicles in the past 30 years along with many Jeeps and a Suzi. All for basically the same use as the mighty KLR, adventure trail riding and offroading. The only one I have left is my 1952 Willys Pick-up.

The 1947 CJ2a went to BC and back roofless twice, I kick myself every time I see that for selling it. Damn!:cry

I play with a little bit of money buy buying and selling small quantities of stocks on the NYSE.
After 4 years, I'm up about $300 bucks.
More of a hobby than a way to make money.

Some trivia...in the movie "Terminator II" what did Linda Hamilton carve on the picnic table? And what did it mean? Learning this may well change your future. :D

I live along a creek called the Marais River. I snowmobile more than I bike and I like riding the Marais....
It's a great place to live except for the odd major flood that turns the creek into a major river!

Position in rugby. Most mortal men fear going into the front row and suddenly look at the ground for lost change if called upon to fill in. Although highly skilled in scrummaging's 'dark arts', props are often compared to garbage men... no one appreciates what we do until we're gone.
