My first love is sailing. Nothing feels quite like a boat moving under you (I know what you're thinking, swine!) and making a living as a bush pilot, the handle was coined by my sister.

    per ardua ad astra

    through adversity to the stars

    The RCAF motto.

In honour of my dad who was a pilot in WW2, and growing up as an Air Force Brat in the 50s and 60s.

I use it on a couple other forums as well.

When I was a kid I always wanted to be a Marine
I was given the nickname by friends when I was about 13 and it stuck. Even when I was in the Corps the guys just called me Jarhead

My name is Mike and my career is based around Mountain Bikes, and "JRA" is a common term with Bicycle mechanics. "I was Just Riding Along when my bike broke". My motorcycle and Mountain Bike rides can be very adventurous so the JRA evolved into Mike J's ridiculous adventures.

MCMXCIV is 1994 in roman numerals was the model year of my RS which was my first BMW motorcycle. I started using that username on a couple of BMW forums and just continued with it on pretty much all the bike forums I frequent.

I've been a cowgirl since I was a toddler - I started riding horses when I was 2. I know how to rope and herd cattle. I use it as my handle whenever I can :D

Well, I used to not really work for a living, but as of last friday, I was informed my position was redundant. WTF? Does that mean I have to not work for no money now? Change my handle?
I'm going to north Mazatlan tomorrow to ponder this deep question.:norton

Fishnbiker ... I took up my Tiger Steamer in 1997 to search out good backroads spots for throwing hooks where others couldn't reach
