Now that was dissappointing. All those bikes standing still with that road ready to ride. What no action shots. Come on. Lets see some hardparts draggin.:evil

La Tremola! How could I have missed that one :cry - I LOVE that road.

For penance, I'll have to do two complete Airolo-Hospental crossings in July.

I also was looking at last summer's GPS track overlaid on Google Earth, and think that I've been missing a bit of the cobbles toward the bottom at the Airolo end.

That has to be the most posted pic on this thread.

So where are all the pics of that so-called winding road. We're on the 5th page in this thread and I haven't seen any...at least pics of roads that were winding.

But on the older cobblestoned road...and in the rain to add some excitement. :D

The old road runs off the newer wider road; the road where most of the pics of the cobblestoned road are taken from. The there is the tunnel which no sane motorcyclist would take.

    See map and zoom in...

Pics of the old road are taken from around open sided tunnel on the 2.

And why would you expect to see pics of said road? It's a twisty road, I sure as hell wasn't gonna blue ball myself and pull off for a pic!
