Would anyone know of a place either in or near Yuma that will accept tents? I expect to be there around the end of May and do not want to pay for a motel/hotel. So far that seems to be the only hitch in my trip. I can't find a park that will aceept tents, just RVs.
    Can anyone help?

    Thanks, and Much Grass.
And 'nother thing,,,,,is las Algodones "open" in May? I know what it is like there in the winter, but what will it be like in May?

May might be hotter than Hell in Yuma. Was there one Memorial day and it hit 112 degrees. Not much fun in a tent, or on the bike. Algadones is always open, but a lot slower in May when the snowbirds have left. Border crossing closes at 10 pm also. The Green door is a good spot to have a beer and resturante Yuma is great for tacos ( at least was in past. Haven't been in a few years )
