Got in two fantastic days of riding this weekend. gee joined me on day one for a marathon ride covering three of sw Colorado's best trails. Started off sorta early just outside of Ridgway, hitting Nate creek trail and Alpine Trail to Lake City, then Pole Creek/Lost creek to the Alpine Sands camp Eureka outside of Silverton.

We a get a couple miles into Nate Creek and gee needs a pit stop, not a bad place to drain some fluids.

After dropping a few ounces of weight we were off!!!

No. Not technical. Just casual trail riding. Very little effort involved, really.

You are living in the Junk no? Thats not very far, Unaweep comes down here all the time:deal

Speaking of the bunny hater, he, Genghis Swan, Darren, and Joel (is Joel on here?))all wanted to ride ST from camp ALpine SAnds Eureka so Saturday morning we jaunted over Stony Pass for another run on trail 822. WTH, It'll be the opposite direction of the day before and maybe I'll stay dry this time.

After trail 822 the baja boys went to Lake City for lunch and I hit the passes headed back to Telluride for a concert. California Pass.

Here is a shot from the top of Corkscrew. Note the Mtn in the middle and behind the others.

Last fall I rode to the top of the peak in the middle and took this shot looking towards Corkscrew.

Pretty rare to be able to ride to the top of a 13er in the San Juans.

This one is from the easy side of Black Bear, something about this shot makes me dizzy.
