I left around 0540ish.
Got to VA Beach a little after 3:50.
Still fairly wet here.
Taking a break before heading for lot 9 at the speed way.
Will ride 87 miles to Tenafly, NJ.
Will come in from the west on I -80.
Take 1666 bus from Port Authority to Tenafly. Take DR over to Circle Cycle. Leak in front tyre.
Stay the night in Tenafly. Route planning for ride to New London, CT
After crossing the Thames River by Mohegan Sun, and turning right/South on Rte 12, be sure to take a left onto State Route 214 about a mile or so down Rte 12. Ride it over to Rte 2 and turn around if you need to stay on 12 but it is a very fun, up and down twisty road.
I am in Groton now, on Monday, on the way to Twisted Throttle HQ, I'll go north to 214, then east. Terrian is great to ride in.
Today the MIGHTY DR and I set a personal best. Stop lights. Never stopped at so many on a 200 mile day.
Perfect weather. Great roads. Damn near spoiled by cages. Surprised by the traffic.
East of Durham I satarted to get into the woods. Less horn honking and more live stock and slower drivers.
Higganum Rd is good to go.
Monday, I only have a 42 mile drive to Twisted Throttle.
I will also try and and link up up with an inmate in Warren, RI. That evening or on Tuesday.
It depends on how things are going.
Relax in Groton with friends.
Went to Submarine Musuem today.
Will go to church with them on Sunday.

Easy day of riding and sight seeing.
Talked with some locas for a spell.

Good time at Twisted Throttle. James and John helped me out. Tried out wind shield, but decided to just stay slick.
Took dirt road out back east and other back roads to the 138.
The bridges over to Middletown and north to Bristol are great.
Relived that traffic is much lighter in southern Little Rhody.
116 miles so far.
Ride to Cap Cod
Took a good power nap outside hillcrest Pizza.
Sunny day, but windy.
No tolls so far.
Will push to Providetown, CApe cod.
Good roads, plenty of librarys, nice vjews, and slow speed limits... Well things are a little faster in MA.
I like it.
In the evening will turn around and camp on the way back. I doubt I will take the ferry.
i think the MIGHTY DR rides the smoothest in 5th gear around 70mph.
The hand guards are are as calm as Carlos Hathcock on his 93rd confirmed kill day.
Decided to pass on the Twisted Throttle event tomorrow night. I saw all the traffic on the bridge on the highway 44 exit and was making good time.
I wouod have stealth camped in Rehoboth again at same spot. 48 hours after the first time.
I still need to spend a couple of days in Boston before the real fun starts in New Hampshire.

Sounds like you're having a good time on the DR.
The Cape is tougher between Memorial Day and Labor Day so enjoy it.
Are you going up the coast towards Maine?
I was down in RI Monday at the beach. I drove CT Rte 214 in the car. Love that road. Hope you got to try it.
My boy will drive me to the T, and I will use my Reserve Card, to get a ride to Bean Town.
Not sure yet where I will ejnd up. Dude from Boston will help me out on that later.
May link up with inmate or another Marine who is in college there.

IT'S not going to be quick and quiet like it was with Little Rhodie, it's going to be loud and nasty, my kind of tour.
Will go to the A. NATIONAL PARK in Maine.
I did not take the 214, but the 1A and other small roads off tje coast.
I am sure The Cape Is insane during that period.
