Ok, Im looking to purchase a YZF250, and found this one on craigslist http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/mcy/1425167670.html . I like the price and the info, so I started talking to the seller.

I asked him about any leaks or smoking, etc. He said there was an oil leak right above the header that caused it to smoke, and not all the oil was off the pipe since he had only ridden it a couple times. He said he fixed it with some sealant. Now keep in mind this is all in emails, so I havnt seen the bike yet, but he said it was from a nut right above the exhaust header, and was told it was for coolant removal. Is this correct? Why would oil leak there? What would be a roper fix for this, and has anyone else had this or a similar issue. Thanks
