Oh you're right, my mistake richard. Between the fur and bits of Eddy flying everywhere, I could barely make out the difference.

Looking forward to everyone's pics! My camera died on me, so I didn't get any!

Thanks to all for an amazing and fun ride, and special thanks to Eddy for planning and Lauri & Nic for running the chase truck!

Awsome ride, no injuries we all had great week end, for those who even attempt to do this ride deserve a round of applause it was brutal in some sections (rocks, sand, gravel, easy, hard) not to mention z longivity of it . Today I clocked 185 miles off-rd, don't know about yesterday . Special thanks to Robin & Lauri for helping out with z chase truck.
Oh yeah z cougar could not get me :lol3 he's fast but not faster than 500 meter per second.
R.R. & pix coming soon right now i got to get some sleep .

Great Ride, good food, great friends! Thanks Eddy for planning Z routes. Next one I'll try to make it through all sections. Cannot wait for the pics, then maybe I will be able to figure out why at Z Grand Canyon, we became Z main attraction. Thank you Kuulei and Nicole for providing team support, and Z great food at Z Grand Canyon. BTW: No I was not selling Sandwich's!

This trip was awesome. Had a great time with the gang. This is the CHASE TRUCK RR.

Like all good trips, we started out at the Waffle House on Bell and the 17 frwy. Eddy gave his usual riders meeting before kickstands up at 6:30am.
    <a href="http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z95/kuuleiwong/Z%20Grand%20Canyon%20Loop/?action=view&current=S6300011-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/advrider-photobucket-images/images/k/kuuleiwong_Z%2520Grand%2520Canyon%2520Loop_S6300011-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
    <o:p> </o:p>
The first “gas stop” for the chase truck… WE WERE THERE
    <a href="http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z95/kuuleiwong/Z%20Grand%20Canyon%20Loop/?action=view&current=S6300036-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/advrider-photobucket-images/images/k/kuuleiwong_Z%2520Grand%2520Canyon%2520Loop_S6300036-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
    <o:p> </o:p>
    They were NOT!
    <a href="http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z95/kuuleiwong/Z%20Grand%20Canyon%20Loop/?action=view&current=S6300037.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/advrider-photobucket-images/images/k/kuuleiwong_Z%2520Grand%2520Canyon%2520Loop_S6300037.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
    <o:p> </o:p>
After Fluff-a-Palooza made a quick stop “elsewhere” we found the riders on Rim Rd
    <a href="http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z95/kuuleiwong/Z%20Grand%20Canyon%20Loop/?action=view&current=S6300041-2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/advrider-photobucket-images/images/k/kuuleiwong_Z%2520Grand%2520Canyon%2520Loop_S6300041-2.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
    <o:p> </o:p>
Just before everyone could take off from gas stop #1, someone noticed a BIG bolt sticking out of the frame that holds up the sub-frame. “How many riders does it take to change a bolt”?
    <a href="http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z95/kuuleiwong/Z%20Grand%20Canyon%20Loop/?action=view&current=S6300048-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/advrider-photobucket-images/images/k/kuuleiwong_Z%2520Grand%2520Canyon%2520Loop_S6300048-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
    <o:p> </o:p>
The weather started to turn on us really quick… a few mis-communications and lack of estrogen made the last stop difficult to get to, so Fluff-a-Palooza dropped the gear off at the hotel so it wouldn’t get soaked and went shopping. Then the riders made it to the hotel. The hoodlums taking over on the hotels parking lot.
    <a href="http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z95/kuuleiwong/Z%20Grand%20Canyon%20Loop/?action=view&current=S6300057-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/advrider-photobucket-images/images/k/kuuleiwong_Z%2520Grand%2520Canyon%2520Loop_S6300057-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
    <o:p> </o:p>
Dinner at Oregano’s. Great food, lots of laughing and Flyn Brian got a birthday gift when it wasn’t his birthday. That’s the start of the practical joking going on this weekend.

Made it to the Grand Canyon. There were so many people there from other countries and places that our group was standing out like a sore thumb. People would ask if there were terrorist attacks going on (90% of the riders wearing MX gear and firearms or weapons), or since Fluff-a-palooza was setting up for lunch were we selling sandwiches… all kinds of stuff. But the view was spectacular and riders were treated with lunch and rest.
    <a href="http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z95/kuuleiwong/Z%20Grand%20Canyon%20Loop/?action=view&current=S6300133.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/advrider-photobucket-images/images/k/kuuleiwong_Z%2520Grand%2520Canyon%2520Loop_S6300133.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
    <o:p> </o:p>
The gang at “Z Grand Canyon Loop 2010”
    <a href="http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z95/kuuleiwong/Z%20Grand%20Canyon%20Loop/?action=view&current=S6300136.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/advrider-photobucket-images/images/k/kuuleiwong_Z%2520Grand%2520Canyon%2520Loop_S6300136.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
    <o:p> </o:p>
Final stop. We are on the reservation.
    <a href="http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z95/kuuleiwong/Z%20Grand%20Canyon%20Loop/?action=view&current=S6300142.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/advrider-photobucket-images/images/k/kuuleiwong_Z%2520Grand%2520Canyon%2520Loop_S6300142.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
    <o:p> </o:p>
There wasn’t enough room for 7 passengers in the truck so Gdspd and Maka rode and followed the chase truck going home.
    <a href="http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z95/kuuleiwong/Z%20Grand%20Canyon%20Loop/?action=view&current=S6300147.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/advrider-photobucket-images/images/k/kuuleiwong_Z%2520Grand%2520Canyon%2520Loop_S6300147.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
    <o:p> </o:p>
Then the rain came and we stopped to load the last 2 riders on the trailer. 7 people inside the cab. The ride was very cozy.
    <a href="http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z95/kuuleiwong/Z%20Grand%20Canyon%20Loop/?action=view&current=S6300179.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/advrider-photobucket-images/images/k/kuuleiwong_Z%2520Grand%2520Canyon%2520Loop_S6300179.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
    <o:p> </o:p>
Again, it was a great weekend. Thanks Eddy for bringing it all together and for Nicki helping me with the chase truck. Cant wait until next year…… Hot towels to wipe your face at the lunch point, lounge chairs and a table to eat at under a tent, individualized lunch packs for your bike and who knows what else. Gotta make the riders comfortable… Aloha to all, Chick4KLRs:norton

Thanks to Eddy for putting this ride together and to the chase truck support volunteers as well. What a treat to have my gear follow me as well as the catered goodies. Dinner at Oreganos was fantastic and the giant beers were a little too tempting.
I have a new respect for the KTM 950. Who knew they handled like a 250?
The "baja silt stretch" was particularly fun. As I blasted through it, I knew it was going to eat someone. Luckily, the few crashes of the day were non-injury.
Ending the ride at the edge of the grand canyon made for a perfect ride for me. I still had a bunch of dirt to ride to get home anyway.
I really enjoyed meeting and riding with you guys and was happy there was at least one other fugly KLR along.
    Until next time,
    -Nick (green klr) :1drink

Cant wait to come out and ride in your neck of the woods. There are a few other riders up your way. Perhaps we can get together for a shin-dig? (no punn intended)
