zip-ties and latex gloves

    No, it's not what you think.

    Just thought I'd pass on that I never cease to be amazed at the versatility of zip-ties and latex gloves.

    If you have anything of less than approx 5" diameter you need to keep clean (carb or head intakes), just stretch a clean glove over it and zip-tie it into place.

    Need to plug something? Wanna flush your tank with muriatic acid? zip tie a glove over your petcock holes, then use an old rubber grip with a sock wrapped around it and finally a glove on it (zip-tied into place) to stuff and seal the filler neck.

    Hell, they even keep your hands clean and hold stuff in place.
